JOB PURPOSE: 1st line technical support (via phone, email, and other electronic communications) for our growing residential and SME broadband and telephone customer base.



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ideal applicants will have some relevant experience in a technical support role, or technology-related call centre environment.



Applicants should have experience working with both residential and business customers assisting with configuration, troubleshooting, research, and service development.



REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

Telephone support experience preferred.

Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls (35-40 calls per day on average), and other electronic communications.

Excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.

Excellent troubleshooting ability and good networking knowledge.

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills

Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, Anti-virus software, and Web Browsers.

Proficient in basic router setups WAN configuration, wireless network configuration, & firewall / port forwarding configuration.

Basic knowledge of MAC operating systems preferred.

Proven ability to work on own initiative and develop skills and learning.

Available within 4 weeks or less.
